Larcenauts is a sci-fi themed multiplayer hero shooter played in VR. Players choose from a selection of specialists that each have a unique playstyle and compete in 6v6 matches to accomplish objectives.
I was responsible for defining and prototyping the skills and stats of each of the 8 specialists. I tuned their capabilities throughout development of the project based on playtest feedback and performance to balance the classes against each other.

Quick Skill: Dash
Instantly teleports the character a short distance
Deployed Skill: Temporal Rift
Increases the rate of fire of ally weapons while they are inside the area of effect
Grenade: Smoke
Obscures enemy vision and reduces ally received damage while they are in the area of effect

I defined what each character would improve as they increased in level and the level cap. I chose the structure, selected the improvements for each specialist, and tuned the magnitude of the improvements.
STRUCTURE
The progression for the specialist followed a pattern that was modified to play to the strengths of the specialist.
Even Levels: Specialist specific skill improved, maximum ammo capacity increased
Odd Levels: Character stat enhancement improved, maximum ammo capacity increased
